Hi there I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy S2 and I recently tried to update Cyanogenmod (from a 10.1 nightly to a more recent 10.1 nightly) but now it keeps getting stuck on the cyanogenmod spinning logo.

My power button doesn't work and so I cannot get into recovery mode to reflash a backup ROM.

Can anybody tell me how/if there is a way to flash another ROM onto my phone without the use of the power button?

Use a USB Jig to enter Download mode, and flash a stock firmware using Odin. I suggest you flash a 3 part firmware (one that comes as PDA, Phone and Modem files) to discard any chance of bootlooping. After that, take it to a Service Centre and replace the Power button at the earliest. :)

Yes, Jig is the solution, if the power button not working.
