I love the phone, but coming from an iPhone the scrolling while scrolling through web pages, emails etc was so much smoother. The Galaxy seems to have very small and short stutters as I'm going through pages. Is anybody else notice this? Would be great to hear some feedback on solutions. I have set the developer options to 0 on the animations and transitions, etc. As well as the S voice Home key activation button turn to off. Thanks in advance.

Honestly, this is an issue that seems to be more of an Android problem than a specific device issue. Lots of people on many different Android devices seem to complain about it, but some don't experience it at all.

I think it's just the difference of Android being available on many different types of hardware where as iOS isn't.

I haven't noticed this at all on my S4's so I don't know what might be causing it.
Perhaps try a different launcher from Google Playstore.
Some of the better launchers are Go Launcher Ex, Apex, Nova.
I use Apex on one of my S4's and Go Launcher Ex on the other.
Can't hurt to give it a try.
Agreed. I run Apex on my Nexus 7 and Galaxy S4, and have no such issue. Ditto with my retired Froyo phone running ADW EX. Samsung Touchwiz has some nice features, but it has problems too. Of course, disabling system apps that you don't use can't hurt either.

Thanks guys, just curious though, woulda launcher have any positive influence in Google Chrome? Seems like it would have more of an influence on the homepage or scrolling through menus, etc. But web browser or facebook are independent of the launcher No?

Yes but your problem could be due to scrolling cache. I know that nova launcher lets you clear it just by long pressing the app icon. Or just root your phone and installing a rom that disables scrolling cache by default. You'll notice the difference right away.
