BudGreen24 on zte warp forums posted this earlier. I thought Id try it out and to my surprise, It actually worked great. :D
Battery life is at least 30% better.
apps and webpages are loading faster.

It has received many positive responses so far... But there were also several negatives as well.

I thought Id share this with you guys, I've flashed it and it works on the sequent. It works great. Im using superr rom 2 and I flashed the stock rom zip. Unless your running Jelly Beer, Cm10 or cm10.1, then flash the stock rom.
If you try it, let me know what you think. :smokingsomb:

its probably because it has install-recovery.sh in it somewhere some mods include this (not sure why) id say just stick with disabling the recovery flash. As far as init.d support i was planning on hitting up shinru sometime this week to ask him about the possibility of it :D

*Edit downloading it now to take a peek under the hood

this includes crossbreeder and init.d files. but does the stock sequent kernel have init.d support? i didnt think it did. Maybe dtm could make the needed edits to the new kernel so we could get full benefits of this mod if the kernel doesnt already support it that is

Code:
#!/system/bin/sh
# init.d support
run-parts /system/etc/init.d/
/system/etc/CrossBreeder/busybox start-stop-daemon -o -S -b -x /system/etc/CrossBreeder/zzCrossBreeder &
was that what you were trying to post? If so looks like your right it needs to be flashed to enable crossbreeder

Lol like smartman said, even though cwm warned you about the new recovery flash, it doesn't mean that it will actually flash the recovery. Its a way to get init.d on phones that don't fully support the mod. If you disable the flash warning in cwm after installing the zip the mod won't take place and your imagination is just fooling you thinking that the mod is actually working. I believe Dtms kernel does have init.d support so if you're running his kernel its fine to disable the flash warning but if you're not running his kernel do not disable the flash warning.

EDIT: NVM dtms kernel doesn't have init.d support, its not listed in his features list and I'm too lazy to check manually lol. Just don't disable the flash recovery crap that cwm warns you and the mod will work and no new recovery will be flashed.

Here ya go. Init-d.APK install/enable, then uninstall after it's done.

Enables init.d support on stock kernels. Worked on mine...

It would be better if we could get native init.d support without an apk. Im pretty sure it woulndt take much code to get it up and running but im no kernel cook either. I tried to do it with AK but it failed.:p

Ill run a simple test to check it this afternoon but im pretty sure Serenity doesnt have init.d support (yet)
