Two weeks ago the speaker died in my Inc 4G. This is the speaker used by the ringer and notification sounds. I'm still able to use the phone for calls, but have been missing many when I do not feel it vibrate. I have ordered a Galaxy S4 as the replacement.

An S4 as a replacement vs a $10 speaker replacement? Sounds like you just wanted the S4 ;) LOL.. Just kidding... One of the gals I work with just came in with one of these yesterday. Man is that a big phone... To big for my taste, but sure looks like a nice phone. Good Luck with it... I guess we won't be seeing you on this forum anymore... It's been real..!

Is your 4G in great shape besides the speaker? If your interested in getting rid of it PM me... Maybe I'll fix the speaker and keep it as a backup?

Nice to hear the speaker can be repaired. Yes, I was ready to try an S4. I really love the phone save for two reasons. The size is only a problem in that it is harder to use with one hand and since the back of the phone is very slick it's even harder with one hand. Those are my only 2 issues so far. The phone is so thin it still fits in my front pocket comfortably. Yesterday I added a compact Urban Armor case which makes it less slippery and a little tighter in the pocket but it's not bad. I really like having Android 4.2 with Google Now on board.

Cool your happy with your new S4! I still am not ready to make the change to that big of a phone. Also I am afraid to go to a Samsung phone... I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and I think it is one of the biggest pieces of $hit I have owned. It is very slow and clunky. It was just updated to 4.2.2 and it seems to have made it even slower. (Maybe I just got a bad one? I did be a manufacturer referb..??)
