No ICS for Verizon Rhyme?

I may be a little late on this one, but will there ever be an ICS update for the Verizon Rhyme? :C

I've seen that there's a custom rom on xda for ICS, but I'm pretty sure it's for the GSM Rhyme. And I think Verizon is CDMA. Which doesn't make sense to me, because couldn't anyone with a GSM Rhyme use the RUU update on Htcdev?

You might be interested in an online chat I just had with a Verizon rep:

My name is Deshawn, how may I assist you?
Jonathan: Per this Verizon announcement: (web address here, I can't post links)
Jonathan: Verizon stated the HTC Rhyme will receive an update to Android ICS 4.0
Jonathan: When will that happen?
Deshawn: Hello there Jonathan. I can certainly share with you what information we have regarding this update.
Deshawn: Now how the updates work is that they are sent out in batches, as to avoid congestion of the network being bombarded with a significant amount of users updating their software at the same time.
Deshawn: Although we don't have an estimated time of arrival to your phone, I can assure you that now that it has the go ahead to receive this update, you should be getting notified within the next month or so.
Jonathan: okay. thank you.
