Root [Sprint/Cricket] questions about sprint gs3 to JB 4.3

I have a galaxy s3 4G LTE that is rooted with Oden3 v3.04. running stock rom, and kernel. I have Android 4.1.2 running on it now. what are my best options for updating to Android 4.3? I hope posted to the right forum. I didn't know whether it went here or in the S3 G4 LTE international forum.

it goes here, but there are pretty limited roms out there running 4.3 id stay away from it until the bugs are worked out if youre not that up on flashing roms constantly/accepting of minor niggles

I've been using 4.3 for the last few weeks as stable daily drivers.

You won't find any touchwiz ROMS, but for AOSP I'd check out either Carbon or Slim.

I just flashed CM10.1.2 I think it is, which I believe is 4.3 (Nevermind, it's 4.2.2), and the keyboard is not working, does anyone know why this would be? It keeps telling me that unfortunately android keyboard (AOSP) has stopped.

You might want to fix your permissions or try a reflash.

I'd try wiping caches and fixing permissions first.

That can also happen when you flash the wrong gapps.

Ensure you are flashing it for the correct android version

4.3 achieved with PAC-man rom. Oc with bms 3.4 and all is well.

I don't although I did search for it. I ultimately found a KitKat ROM from cyanogenmod and have been running it.

Well, it looks like Samsung may have skipped properly testing the Android 4.3 update for the Galaxy S III in a bid to get it out there as soon as possible. The update, which started rolling out to unlocked international variants of the S III today and to Vodafone-branded handsets a few days ago, is causing all sorts of issues for users, and as a result Samsung might have pulled the plug and paused its rollout.

The issues the Android 4.3 update has introduced are pretty major, including reduced battery life, app crashes, inconsistent Wi-Fi connections, laggy performance, and even complete lockups of the device on the lockscreen that can only be solved by pulling out and reinserting of the battery. The folks over at Phones Review report that the update was initially available on their UK handset, but after ignoring it and attempting to update the next day, their S III simply said the latest updates were installed, which is a pretty good indication that the update might have been pulled by Samsung, and the Note II update might be put on hold as well, considering how similar it is to the S III in both software and hardware.
