I've read through this post http://androidforums.com/android-lounge/749666-android-device-manager-how.html and followed every tip, without success. Google cannot locate or ring my HTC One X.

I wanted to know whether this service is available in the UK, and whether any other One X users have managed to get it working? I guess the only other option available to me is to do a full reset....I'm not sure I'm that desperate to get this function working :)

It seems to be working ok on my One X, except that I don't have the option to perform the Erase (despite all the options being checked on the phone). I recall some of the functionality of ADM being for JB 4.3 and above (all options seem available on my Nexus 7 (2012), which is running 4.3).

It hasn't always worked, though. When it first went live, I couldn't ring my One X (I'm on ICS 4.0.4 by the way) via ADM.

Have you tried restarting your phone or simulating a battery-pull (long press of the power button)? If not, a factory reset is the only other logical option if you've exhausted all the info on the help page. Thinking about it now, I have done a factory reset since I set up ADM (smashed screen, so HTC factory reset the phone before sending it back to me).

Can't get it working on mine either. In UK (Edinburgh) - on T-mobile/ EE.
Thanks for replying, I'm on T-Mobile too, not that it should make any difference. Having done a full reset, and re-done all the tips and tricks, I've officially given up now. Frustrating when a feature doesn't work, but doing the reset has fixed a couple of other niggles, and I'm sure the WiFi signal is better...
