Probably one of the dumbest questions of all time, but here goes.
I am looking to pick up a used phone for my wife (off contract), and she has fallen in love with the way the AMOLED screen looks on my Moto X because she reads on her phone, and on mine the black background is simply black. (screen appears to be off except for the text.)
Screens are new territory for me, so I assumed that was simply a characteristic of AMOLED vs LCD... Until I found out my Droid Razr Maxx also has an AMOLED screen, and that still has the dark backlight-type glow that I would expect from an LCD screen.
So my question is this... do either the Razr M or the Galaxy Nexus have screens where black pixels are actually black, or do they still have the dim black glow?
