i'm confused by this statement. Take every windows PC including every brand sold in a Best Buy store right now. They most likely all have Windows 8 on them. (excluding the surface) and the same version of Windows 8 at that.

Yep. I'm sticking with Windows 7 after hearing all of the negative feedback about 8. And the computers at my job were "downgraded" from Vista to XP.

Let's not forget that apple uses its huge cash reserves to pay and bribe developers to not develop, or delay deployment of, their apps to Android

it is true, nothing sucks more than viewing a blown up phone app on a Nexus 10. but it beats the teeny centered 'tile' that happens on the iPad when the app in question is iPhone only.

What bugs me are Android apps that don't work like Android apps. The menu and back buttons don't work properly or at all. Instead, you have to tap on a button that does what the menu and back buttons are supposed to do if they are actually there.
