Root Locked ruby would like stock

So as my name says it i am a newbie at this stuff so i bought a t mobile htc amaze 4g and put in my sim and turned it on and no service, so i figured i would hard reset by going into the bootloader but when i got there i got this

That's stock .. From the bootloader go to recovery.

No from a used cell phone shop and the sim card that was in there before worked perfect is there a way to root your sim card or something? i mean if i can figure out how to put a different rom on it and it works then thats what i have to do i just want my phone to work

OK so youre going to need an EXT SD Card.

Name it PH85IMG

Move it to your ext-sd

Go into the BOOTLOADER and let it do its magic.

Ok so i already reinstalled the stock software and unlocked it again and rooted it with supersu and getting ready to put on viper rom and hoping that this will let me get service cause even when i had the stock software it wouldnt read my sim card
