Help SD card lost?

Well, I think in Thursday, my phone just stopped recognizing my card. Now not even my laptop recognizes it. Is there anything I can try?
How old is the card? What kind of MicroSD card is it?

When you insert it into a PC, using a proper adapter, does nothing come up on Windows?

It could be that the card has either been corrupted, has died, or there is interference blocking it from being read by a device.

It's a 16gb microsd. Kingston. Lasted about 7-9 months. I've used a microsd adapter and put it into my laptop and nothing comes up.
That is defiantly odd. There is a chance that it might be 'shot', meaning it will no longer work.

Did you have any data on it that you might need to recover? You can try using Piriform's Recuva and see if it will read it.

There is also this...which seems to be right up your problem.

Micro SD card stopped working. PLEASE Help! - xda-developers

Unfortunately, I have never had an SD card die on me, only one that has, was a dead on arrival card, and it was clear it happened due to the assembly coming apart.

Luckily, I realized something was up. So I backed everything up a week before it stopped. Well try what is in the link after I get back from school. Thanks! :D
I hope you are able to salvage everything that was on there.

I am still curious as to why your card would fail, there is very little reason for it given the time frame unless you wrote over it three times as much as a person would in a five year period.

No I wasn't, never got recognized. But like I said before. I was able to back up everything before. I found it weird too, I only used up like 3gigs.
That is good to hear, even if you did, I always ask for there are sometimes present in cards a single file that is at the back of one's mind, as being so recent it is easy to forget it was added to the pile.

Does it still have a warranty by any chance? Now would be the perfect time to reclaim it.
