While waiting for a decent case to be available, came up with a temporary solution. Might not be the esthetically pleasing but gets the job done !
Sock size 12 folded in itself 3 times...room for phone, ear buds and card...
Jesus! LOL. But that's very practical. =)

Yea I'm looking ..definitely a screen protector, not sure about a case yet though ...but if I do it'll be something thin and cheap or maybe a spigen ... Definitely not a otter box ... I seen the otter box for the galaxy mega at AT&T and the thing came with a belt clip ... It was so HUGE ... I couldn't believe it ...it was really funny ...to see that big thing clipped to your belt is silly ... Unless your like 7 foot ... But it was a good laugh ... But not sure if ill do a case ... Also may do one of this cases that cover the screen ... But we'll see

I've always had cases on my phone but holding this in one hand and my note 2 with a case in the other, this feels so much better it would be a shame to bulk it up with a case.
That being said, the chrome looks quite vulnerable so i'm going to try a bumper case for just the edges

Naked! I too appreciate the smooth feel of the gorilla glass under my finger as I move it from place to place 
Yes I've had an accident and cracked the glass but I'm not convinced having a screen protector would have prevented the damage. Now, I do use a hard case for the back and edges.

No one had cases yesterday when I bought mine. Makes me nervous going naked like this. That said, I went naked on the screen on my Note 2 and will do so on my 3. I will get a case though. I'm pleasantly surprised by how well they did on the pleather but it's just too business/serious looking for my taste. Oh, and I will drop this thing. Oh yes, I will drop it.

Amazon shipped the case I bought from there really quickly. I also got one from ebay that shipped from China much faster than I anticipated. I wouldn't wait for one of the stores. Just buy from amazon or ebay and there are already a ton of choices.

I rarely put cases on my phones, but I an intrigued by the S-View Cover. I'll probably pick one up. I like that the case IS the back of the phone, but it doesn't add much additional bulk like other cases do.

Definitely no screen protector. I've never been convinced they do anything good (much like the leather bras that RX/7 owners used to have), and they just add a layer that gets scratched where the actual glass doesn't get scratched. Also I don't want anything interfering with the capacitive surface and especially not with the fancy S Pen on the Note 3.
However, this might be the first smartphone I put a case on. I usually buy an extended battery and run the included thicker cover nekkid, but Note 3 seems relatively fragile in drop tests and may have enough juice stock not to need an extended battery.

Naked for a day, ordered case and screen protector will be here tomorrow. The S4 scratched easily and I dont want this to occur on my Note 3.

I love the white texturized pleather it's much better than glass or all metal it's a great look and feel

I'm kind of torn about mine, went for a couple months with my EVO LTE until I nicked the back falling about 6 feet from the truck. Went with a bumper $10 Sprint store case and liked it but don't think something like that works here.
I have to thank the forum, had never heard of Spigen before and don't think the Sprint stores or Best Buy around here carry them. Torn between the Slim Armour and Neo Hybrid but the Slim doesn't ship from Amazon for a couple weeks, Neo ships Monday. Any thoughts from previous Spigen users?
Definitely not an Otterbox, have one for my work Ipad and hate it passionately. The screen 'protector' does more to collect dust and fingerprints than the naked screen ever could.

They must have sold out then, listed an in stock date through Spigen on Oct 18. I like the look of the Neo better but I don't really know anything about either one. Or anything about UAG, case looks decent but I've seen a couple with pictures of cracks in the outer poly covering on SIIIs and others.

That's odd...I contacted them about my case ordered a few weeks ago and they said shipping soon but the page said 10/28 so I cancelled. Well that and the price went down.

I noticed the same thing, I added it to my wish list on Amazon @ $35 and it's down to $25 now but doesn't ship until Oct 30 now and the slim is still Oct 18. Amazon lists them both as shipping from Spigen directly for $10 less than Spigen's own page. Spigen's own page lists both cases and screen protector as shipping in mid-October. Really hoping the local Sprint store got something in this weekend, the one by my office said MAYBE this week but they had no idea.

Upon receiving the email that mine was shipping I called to see if I could add another to the order (for a friend) I was told the first batch was sold out & being shipped but the following group would be discounted.

That's more than they gave me. They said Amazon controlled pricing and told me to cancel and reorder.
