32 GB and 3000mah battery for $399? Please be true.

Wish storage and battery were what I was worrying about. Stupid frakkin' verizon...

Well on the bright side, I will have a couple of months to find out all the problems and/or get through all the bad devices (I had to RMA my gnex like 4 times until I got one with a good screen and radios that didn't drop constantly) before I jump ship to AT&T :D

You didn't miss a leak. The 3000 mAh battery is just a fanboys pipe dream.

Do you have sources for that? Particularly the difference in battery.

The FCC filing documents as well as the manual for the 32 GB clearly had the battery labeled as 2300mAh.

I'd just like to know if you're speculating or if I missed another leak

How does that prove anything? In the second sentence they even say they are essentially reposting the exact same thing as the phone arena article. This tells us nothing other than the fact that if one person reports false information, multiple news outlets will report the same crap.

I'm not going to believe an "anonymous" source when the service manual for the phone says otherwise.

Adding capacity to the battery would require a new phone body, so why wouldn't they make the option available for the 16gb as well?

Technically the service manual is for the model thought to be an international variant. Still, it seems like a wonderful but unlikely rumor.

it's not news outlets, they would verify a story. But techblogs don't want to be the only ones not saying the same thing, why let wether it's correct get in the way of a bandwagon.

That's why I like android police. While they'll get involved in rumors sometimes, theyll make it very clear what the source was and won't repost stories from another site without at least doing their own digging.

A good example from middle of last month: (hidden because of language in the title)

Some other outlets reporting it hadnt even bothered to contact Spigen
