Root [ROM]Party Time JB 3.0.X

I got the same one..46.??mb...I actually went ahead and let it [attempt] install, seeing as how I was already back to md6. Still at md6 after the att., but then again the update failed. .
I did the same without thinking. I saw a tiny red triangle briefly and the phone just rebooted. I haven't got an update notification ever since though.

When I tap "System updates", it says "Your phone is up to date" however.

I suppose baseband version and build number don't have to match to work together, do they?

Nope, my girlfriend's phone still has the md6 baseband but is running m12 with no problems

Is there a way to get a silent boot? Also has anyone managed to disable that annoying update notification?

You can turn the volume off for a silent boot or you can go into system/media/audio/ui and delete PowerOn.ogg...Go to root/cache and delete the update zip and then change the cache permissions to r-r-r
