Hey BobZ, would I run into issues if I dirty flashed your 9-01-13 build over the the 8-25-13 one?

I want to update builds as you release them but kinda too lazy to completely redo the launcher, settings, apps.....etc.

You (usually) don't need to wipe when flashing new builds. This is really only necessary if you're switching ROMs (e.g. going from stock to CM).

I get an error when trying to flash.. assert failed: getprop('ro.product.device') == "p769" and there is a lot more.. any ideas?

ROM is running great ! I flicked on "Force GPU rendering" and "Disable HW overlays" under the Developer Options, phones a LOT smoother now

havent seen any negative side effects from doing so, i would strongly recommend it if you havent done so. BobZhome, you sir are awesome thanks a bunch for sharing this project with us

Hi Guys Help needed
I have a metro pcs LG MS769 . I would like to know if flashing would remove the "sim service provider lock" .I plan to use lyca mobile as it uses T mobile network but when i insert lyca sim it shows sim is service provider locked.

Also has anyone tried a different sim after flashing/unlocking the bootloader ?Any suggestion to remove "service provider lock".

Yea man. I was supposed to have it on sweetest day but my girl is short for money recently. But I still want this phone. And I hit you up on Facebook a few times. Not sure if you got the messages or not.

So I have this rom installed and it works great. The only issue I am having is accessing my voicemail. I am on metro, and when I enter my VM password, it doesn't accept it. Any help on the issue would be much appreciated.

If u call metro they can reset password to default which should be 9999

If your having trouble getting past the automated crap choose option for "I would like to subscribe to new service" or something like that. U should get a human

The password isn't the issue. For some reason the dialer inserts two 0's every time you press 0.

Always? Or only when in a call?

How bout taking the lgphone_2c_in.apk and its odex from stock rom and pasting it back into system app folder and use that until prob is addressed?

Question: Is the volume optimized properly? when I was on 10.1 putting the music all the way up it would stop playing, go bezerk, and play on speaker. despite being on headphones the whole time.

Got it fixed. I went through the settings to see if there was an option for button press length, if that makes sense. Any way, I found that the voice mail number was empty. Didn't think that would matter, but when I put in my number, the next time I tried, it worked no problem. Of course the proper pin number helps too. What a dumb ass, lol.
