Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

How nice is this going to be, omg.

Yeah. But won't that change the camera?

Now for something completely different.

I've had my Escape for just about 2 years. It has now shut off on me 3 times, technically four. The first time I was at a red light, it turned green so off I went and then my car stalled. The second time I was down by the mall with no traffic and it stalled again so I just pulled into the mall. The third time was today, red light situation again. Now because of the time of day and the 'T' I was at I had to immediately start it again, which it did, but then shut right back off. So that would be 4. I was half way thru the intersection, started again and everything was fine. Except my light was now red and the turning traffic wouldn't let me go. No big deal really. I get to work and Google it. One website is used by the NHSTA and is for people to share their vehicle problems. My problem had a long list. Another link was for Edmunds. Someone described my problem in the forum. A long response to the question was it could be a camshaft position sensor, a crankshaft position sensor or a throttle box. No one seems to be able to get a code for the problem because as soon as you start the vehicle back up it is as if nothing ever happened.

It will have to wait till Monday to see if something can be done.

Hi folks!

Well, Darling Bride & I did something today that we have never done before.

We went ZIP LINING!

Yep, zip lines, strung out through the north Tennessee forest, just waiting for us. So off through the woods we zipped. The weather was perfect. And you know what? It was FUN!

So if you have a chance to do that, the Chief recommends it :D

All I can think of is the episode South Park did about zip lining. It was hilarious.

No chance of sideloading Wallet even with root?

Anyone have any experience with wireless chargers? Looks like no local stores carry any so I'll have to go with Amazon. Going with either the LG or Nokia one, probably which ever is cheaper. Bummed the Palm one I got a while back to use for my S3 isn't Qi compatible. :(

Dread, I have this one that I use at home :
LG-Electronics-WCP-300-Wireless-Charging
And this one I use in the car :
CHOE UPGRADED Qi Wireless Charger Charging Pad

They are both great, charge through the TPU case and very convenient!

Hey Halon, I had the same intermittent problem with my old 1999 Hyundai Sonata years ago only that car was worse. It would shut off in the middle of an intersection and refuse to start back up sometimes for 30 minutes or so and then just crank up as though nothing was wrong. The problem began to appear when the car was only about a year old. The man in the service department at the dealership said the sensor that was going bad was confusing the onboard computer so it was shutting the car down in order to be "safe". Once the problem was finally identified as a position sensor the dealership replaced the sensor and I never had another problem with the car. I had the car eleven years! My brother is driving it these days. Hopefully your problem will be quickly resolved and you will have many more years with your Escape too.

Stock Android on the G2.

But what stock version? Still looks like a chop to me. Haven't kept up on XDA, does someone have an AOSP ROM for the G2 yet. Figured it would look more like a picture than a stock photo.

I'm not surprisesd if 4.3 is out. Wouldn't expect 4.4 to take long either, since the G2 and Nexus 5 have almost identical internals.

I like Bluetooth paired with Torque PRO, tons of info.
I'd go this route as well. Torque Pro is decent, and does a little more than standard code readers, like log some performance. A bluetoothe OBDII reader is also a bit cheaper than many standard display code readers.

But on the other hand, I have HP Tuners, which is an entirely different level. Not only scan and log, but I can also change any parameter and do custom tunes. But I'm also a bit crazy like that.

I love sleeping in! Unfortunately I have a large, 4 legged alarm clock that doesn't allow it very often. :)

I had one of those alarm clocks recently for 4 days. Too bad I was allergic to him.

Last day we slept on the couch and he slowly made his way up from the other end and plopped his head right on my face. Little bugger LOL

Ain't that the truth. Exactly at 7 am (I don't know what HER alarm clock is) my alarm clock drops 80 pounds on my chest, looks at me with those eyes and starts whining. :D

Lol! Mine isn't allowed on the bed, but since I've just moved and don't have most of my stuff here yet, just having a mattress on the floor it's hard to keep her off it. But even under normal circumstances she's tall enough to nose me and then bark and if I still ignore her, she jumps her front paws up on me and gets in my face. :-D
