[Verizon] CyanogenMod 10.1.3 Stable is awesome!

I will have to say switching to CyanogenMod 10.1.3 stable is the best thing I have ever done for my GNex. It getting so slow on JBS Encore that I could hardly even use it. My battery was about dead in 5-6 hours. CyanogenMod has now put new life into my GNex. It is fast...really fast and after 12 hours of use I still have 70% battery...that is after it downloaded and installed apps and updated them today after I flashed the ROM last night.

This will hold me over until I dive into a new phone..probably the Note 3

I am happy finally with my GNex performance.

And 10.1.3 = android 4.?

Looking to give my phone a little bit of life until I move onto the next one. Am On JBSourcery 4.2.2 right now....not super happy with the battery life and my phone has been acting up, would you recommend it?

CM is the best ROM I've used as far as battery life goes. Less settings than other ROMs, but it's very stable and has most options I need.

Not that I know of. At least, not that my VZW version has seen stock (like Vzw would be getting it any time near release anyway ha.)

No correction needed :thumbup:

Sprint and Verizon are pre-4.3, while ATT or T-Mobile got it directly from google

No wonder. Good to see a nice phone like this receive 4.3. Just how my LG Optimus V received a laggy build of Android 4.2.2. :3

WOWWW, sounds like someone switched your phone with a MAXX when you weren't looking.

seriously though, i know new ROMS give better batt life\performance........... but how much did you actually use it?!?!

These are sometimes really slow download rates. I usually like to grab them from here: Google Apps (Gapps) - Download Latest Gapps for Android

As long as you know what version of android relates to the build of CM then you're good.

Tried to update from 10.1.2 to the 10/31 nightly build of 10.2 through the auto updater. Got lots of errors....anyone else get this before? Restoring back to 10.1.2 and will probably do a manual update using recovery.

If it's a nightly then there is always a possibility of errors.

I know when I used to nightly test for CyanogenMod that some would just not boot, which sucks, but it's why you make back ups. Just revert back and wait for the next nightly.

Haha awesome...which one do you use? Any of them non-stock? I'd miss some of the customization options.

I have posted all of them in the root guide for our GNex.

I have tested them all. The most customization is probably slimkat, which allows you to do statusbar tweaks, change tiles, some lockscreen changes, and notification colors...

That's about it, not much, but certainly more than the ROMs based of CM11.

EDIT: Understand though that there are graphical glitches and restarts with most of them.
