I've been reading through a lot of forums to find the answer for myself but haven't found anyone who is using peripherals connected to a reverb using a OTG adapter.

I have seen some vendors advertising OTG adapters for the reverb but I'm reluctant to buy one plug it in and cause damage to my phone.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

Hello, Superboy4444

Thanks for your input, Having USB flash drive support would be great on any device I suppose.
That said , I'm hoping for a more sure answer to my question, perhaps one of the wizards who have intimate knowledge of the kernel for our Reverb running the latest JB with the latest update.

Kernel ver.
3.0.31-1301767

willing to root if necessary

Thanks again

Thanks sanjuro :)

I had considered making my own as well, I have a few extra short USB extender cables that came with hardware devices I've purchased over the years and some Micro usb data cables. All I need to make the OTB cable with a usb charging cable. or spend a few bucks and buy one.

Thanks for your reply.
BTW are you able to still use the cable to connect the phone to the computer,
If so it would be a good indicator pin four is not grounded.

I'll have to check that, I don't believe I bothered to try, just threw it in my box of parts. I'll dig it out soon, I've been working on my Jeep all day.

I did see an otg cable on Amazon for like 12 cents, but of course like 4 dollars shipping lol
