Anyone any good with Apple products on here? SORRY

Mrs Fleetster no longer has the Iphone4s Thankfully shes seen the future and got the HTC one :) and when people are texting it doesnt come through, im guessing it is going to Imessage.

I have deactivated all the Apple devices and rest the password but this has not fixed it.

Anyone have any idea how this can be fixed?

Dont have the phone so Imessage cant be turned off using that
Cant contact Apple because we no longer have the phone/serial number?
already de-activated it from Icloud and Itunes and done the reset password as goooogle suggests.

im all out of ideas now

When you say texts aren't coming through, do you mean SMS?

My understanding is that iMessage is a web app and is entirely separate from SMS - my missus just got an iP5s and now gets her SMS on there though her iMessages still come through on her old iP5 despite it only being on WiFi. So far as I'm aware, the SMS never appear in the iMessage app.

If the texts you're missing are iMessages, then I'm afraid you're fresh out of luck as iMessage only works on iPhone/iPad/Mac.

If you do mean SMS, then my guess is that the problem is actually with the SMS settings on the HTC. Easiest thing would be to take the phone to a network store and have them sort it out .. or maybe get in touch with their helpdesk

Alternatively, you could Google the SMS settings for your network and check them yourself .. Presumably some clever person on here would be able to help, though you may have better luck posting in the section for the HTC One or your network.

my friend the fish is correct on all counts. imessage is iOS only, and there's no way to force delivery or recover messages on android. the messages DO come through on wifi, as i use my work ipad without 3g to talk to my fruity friends with no texting charges (they have an ancient plan, i can't convince them to update)

The 'problem' is, I think, with Mrs Fleetster's iPhone-owning pals.... their i-devices will still have her phone number in their iMessage list. Iirc, so long as you've deactivated iCloud for her old iPhone, the number will eventually be removed when the other devices refresh themselves. Text msgs sent will then be delivered normally. This can take up to a week though, from what i remember.
