Root [Verizon] CynagenMod 10.2 Available

CyanogenMod Downloads

Has anyone tried CyangenMod yet? This was by far my favorite ROM on my Galaxy Nexus. If anyone has installed it, please let us know your thoughts. Also, is Google Wallet tap-to-pay working with this ROM?
Tap to pay can't work until Google updates the app to allow that functionality for phones with a secure element on the SIM. You'll also need to replace your SIM with another one that has the SE built in.

Currently, Google Wallet only supports limited phones with built in SE.

CM was a solid ROM for me when I had my Nexus.

I never thought that I would defend a manufactured branded ROM but... With root and some mod APK's this LG build is actually pretty solid.

I will be interested in how others move forward with their expieriences of custom ROM's.

One benefit may be in your Nandroid backups. My stock pushes 4gb and I think my custom ROM backups for the Gnex was closer to 1gb. That is a lot of storage being eat'n up on my phone.

Have to agree. This is the first phone I haven't run an early custom rom on. I'll be interested when 4.4 finally hits once the Nexus 5 releases but 4.2 and 4.3...yeah I've kinda already had my fill there. Just feels like there's not that much more to see although I do greatly appreciate the dev efforts, don't get me wrong.

Definitely true. I'm only keeping my most recent backup on the phone. Which is typically all I need anyway. But yeah, they're crazy big.
