Facebook Contacts

Does the Maxx sync facebook contacts/pictures? I came form the Razr and if I remember correctly it already had facebook installed and synced contacts/pictures. For the Maxx I downloaded facebook, added my account, and synced. But it says I have 0 contacts. I was googling and it seems like at some point of Android 4.x the feature doesn't work anymore? If this is the case, is anyone using one of those apps on the play store that lets you sync?

I use haxsync. It works beautifully.

Thanks for the input. It seems like haxsync is pretty popular. Anyone tried UberSync or SyncMe?

It's easy to guess why Google -- and by extension, Motorola -- would be out of the Facebook game.

Stock Android never had this sync feature. I'm being Motoblur was responsible for your Razr.

That said, I never saw Haxsync perform a expected, so installed it. I still "own" it in Play Store, so I ought to try again and see what's changed.

So are there things that we have to do with both haxsyncs separately? or will they work together?

They work together. U won't see the work around. It will work on its own. Just get them both from the play store and follow the set up. Once all set up it works pretty well.

OK awesome. Ran the sync me app first. Not too bad. Had to do a lil' work to get stuff set, definitely had to run thru every contact but all in all not bad!

Sync Me got most of mine the first time, but I had to manually fix the rest. All in all it didn't take long and I'm happy with it.

I used Sync Me and it missed many of my contacts, and obvious ones at that (my brother whose name in FB and contact matched letter for letter!). UberSync for Facebook worked great!
