Root [Boost Mobile] Any way to get games to actually play? (Rooted ZTE Warp)

Ever since I got my ZTE Warp almost any game I tried to play would either force stop, freeze, or just close without warning. After rooting and speeding up my phone, it still happens. Has anyone found a way to fix this? I kill all of my unused tasks so I don't run out of ram, and I have voltage control set pretty high. My current ROM is HaloBean 7 but it's been like this for every ROM I've tried.

How did you go about downloading my rom? And what are your settings?
I wiped everything through TWRP and installed the zip. If it makes any difference I had the last version of your rom before. And currently my setting re at 1516 MAX 806 MIN, I/O Scheduler cfq, and CPU Governor to performance. I've tweaked the settings a bit for awhile now and it hasn't really made any difference.

try sio/smartassv2 122-1804, and did you download over 3G or Wi-Fi? Performance will cause "skips" of sorts in processes, smartassv2 is a good balance between battery conservation and performance in that it reduces the skips without bursting the battery.
I downloaded the game I've been trying to play right now (Giant Boulder Of Death by Adult Swim) but other games I've tried to play I usually download over wi-fi Just set my voltage controls, I'll test it in a minute. Tryin to get a N64 emulator out of boredom.
Love your rom btw

Ah Giant Boulder of Death... its addicting lol but it works just fine with tons of different settings on my phone. And I mean did you download the rom over 3G or wifi? Downloading over 3G breaks it instantly, but if you downloaded over wifi then its probably just settings or a conflicting app.
Oh, I put it in dropbox and downloaded it from 3G. Should I just wipe it and re-install it?

Yeah, wipe it and reflash but this time download over wifi. I very strongly recommend you download things that you're going to flash to your phone over WiFi only, since (1) its just faster and (2) it prevents issues like random force closes and tremendously painful data loss. I've been there myself, camera stopped working suddenly and I lost some of my contacts, texts, app data, etc. Its not fun at all :(

Okay, I'll redownload it when I go to bed (Watching Hulu right now and don't want to tie up my wifi) and see if games run any better. Also, do you know if games like Majoras Mask on N64 emulators run good on the warp?

Weird I'm not having those issues on my dev unit, and that's where I keep the memory intensive games. I kill 3 birds with one stone, I can test performance, battery life, and I can kill my boredom. The adreno tweaks are the only things that need tweaking though. I've pretty much gotten rid of most of the lag in games in 7. So... conflicting app perhaps?
