What SMS replacements do you guys use?

I also like this one text secure which is 100% open source that allows encrypted chat through sms, it allows u to send a key to someone else that also has this messageing app text secure so that u can totally be encrypted, iam not saying that its unbreakable but if ur chatting & being monitored by whoever let them earn it instead of being able to fork it over to whoever they want perfectly readable un encrypted

Dunno how it works as a single sms encryption id say probably either one side is encrypted the others not or neither are unless both have this messanger,

Does Textra incur any texting fees from the carrier or do you need to buy credits from them? Currently pay 50 cents a text from Telus (I don't use it much) and hoping to cut that back. Also when you text and receive yexts do you use your phone's tel number?
Thanks

In the US, texting US numbers via Textra incurs no fees. I do not believe they even sell Textra credits.

I like Textra also, had issues though with it on mms for sprint based roms & some build props some of the dev puts in there things that can't be changed I've noticed so I've always had issues getting mms to work with it on some, But Pansi allows you to pick your carrier u have & will help that issue out- A friend also a Noob it helped him with Verizon's Droid DNA on T-Mobile service cause he was having issues with MMS

I like Textra a lot, except for the lack of ability to have a signature.
