Just noticed a "special thanks" to me in the OP. I appreciate that, but I'm not sure anything I did really contributed here. Anyway, I downloaded the new mod #1 and I noticed that the updater script is not setting permissions on apns-conf.xml, build.prop, or Stk.apk. Just wanted to give you a heads up. Keep up the good work, I'll let you know if this works on my Victory, and thanks again.

EDIT: Ok, so the TEST #1 did not work. When I use this build and have my phone set to "CDMA+LTE" mode, it kills all data connections completely. When I set my phone to "CDMA Only" mode, DATA works, but I cannot send or receive MMS.

I added your MMS lines to my stock apns-conf.xml, however, and now CDMA+LTE mode works as well as sending and receiving MMS via Google Hangouts! I've attached the modified apns-conf.xml for anybody who wants to look at it. Remember, though, that this is from a VM Galaxy Victory, not a Galaxy S3 so it may be different. I don't have enough knowledge of the apns-conf.xml files to say for sure. Thanks again for all your hard work!

EDIT 2: Just wanted to make it clear that I don't currently have LTE service in my area so I cannot test this on LTE. I have requested some volunteers over in my Conquest thread to help me test LTE so as soon as I get some results from them, I'll post it back up here.

EDIT 3: Ok, just got feedback from my testers and with the apns-conf.xml included in the flashable zip from the OP, no data connection in CDMA+LTE mode. With my apns-conf.xml, they get data on CDMA+LTE, but MMS does not send/receive on 4G.

For MMS send/ receive and working LTE, flash the Mod #1 from this thread. Thanks to these brilliant developers and helpful members, this works perfectly for me.

Yay. Now I have to re-learn where and how for the assert lines (day job takes up too much brain space). Thanks for the update.

Haha. I know what you mean. Honestly, it looks and seems intimidating but it takes no time at all and is super easy. So easy, even a caveman can do it.....well maybe not a caveman. A very helpful member on here has a very detailed guide on the whole entire process that sure helped me. Ill shoot him a pm and see if he wouldn't mind posting it. Ill help in any way I can but I have to give all credit to him.

Hey _inKredible_, thanks for the PM and the shout-out! I am going to start putting together a new thread right now with all the info I sent you, hopefully I will have it ready before I go to work this afternoon, but if not it will be up and running late tonight (around midnight Mountain time zone).

New thread is up, it has the necessary steps to get things going. Need to leave for work shortly, but wanted to get the first round of things out there. Planning on adding a lot more tonight (customization, tips, ROM's I have successfully flashed, etc.). Also, anyone can feel free to PM me for any reason, I am no developer or computer expert, but I have done a lot of research and reading related to rooting and customizing and am more than willing to help fellow Android users get the most out of their phone!
