I want to start by saying my phone was upgraded to jelly bean before I rooted. I used the mirage cwm in odin under PDA to access cwm because the reverb-cwm-test-8 was not working for me. Just a blank screen.

After mirage was installed, I then installed busy box, then super user, via recovery mode. Everything installed fine so i rebooted. Thats when I ran into the problem. It shows the samsung and caution but after that nothing. No swirls and no virgin mobile logo.

I can however hear all sounds (even the boot sound). Im able to use volume controls, charge my phone, and hear touch sounds. The screen is just black. It's almost like the visuals of the OS is missing.

If I plug it into my pc it recognizes it still. I backed up all info and pix/music. I can also view it in samsung keis but cant change the firmware. Any help with this problem would be appreciated. Thnk you

Now its telling me I have an android system update for my 'galaxy rush'. do it?

Yeah, go ahead. It'll tell you 'Do you want to install untrusted zip?'...click Yes. What'll happen id it will LOOK like it's trying to install, but like dude said, it'll fail; then 'screen-go-black & reboot'. After that, you shouldn't have any more notices...

Peace,
Sox
