Where are the cases?

Ended up purchasing an Otterbox Defender the other day. It has an annoying plastic screen protector that created a gap of air between it and the screen; so I just ripped it out. Love the case so far, great protection. Wonder if it'll cut off wireless charging...

Do you have a Verizon phone? It doesn't show that case available on the site yet and I didn't see it in the Verizon store.

They call it a pouch. It's basically a different style of holster. I bought the note 2 version because I wanted to use it with the Incipio Case. It is a perfect fit. I see a few companies make a version for the G2 now. To be used with just the phone.

I've got one of these pouches too (uk version). My G2 has a TPU gel case on it and the LG G2 pouch I bought with it is too tight a fit with the case on, but with the Note 2 pouch it fits just right. :)

Its frustrating the Verizon altered the design of the back buttons ever so slightly; are there any cases designed for Verizon besides the LG Quickwindow you have to buy direct from them?[/QUOTE

I go an Incipio Dual Pro for the LG G2 Verizon phone for $17.99 plus tax. The case costs $29.99 on the Incipio website . I really like it. It is for a Verizon phone and it fits very well. Dual Pro comes with 2 covers. A rubbery one that you put on first , then a hard shell that goes over it. That hard shell is not hard like plastic. It feels so good and is not slippery at all.

I got this case in White /Gray because I wanted a White phone and could not get a white one on Verizon. The cases come in various colors . I love this case and will never have another but the Incipio Dual Pro. This case fits perfectly. Not too tight at all.

Go over to Amazon and look at the pictures of the Incipio Dual Pro and read the favorable comments. :) Here is a link to Amazon and you can see the pictures and how beautiful they are.

Just to add some caution, I was a big fan of the feather until Monday evening when I dropped my phone as I was getting out of my car. It landed on the top (not the screen, but the top, where the noise cancelling mic is) where there is no protection and shattered the screen. So you understand, I am a short person (5'5") and my car is a lowered is300 so at most the phone dropped 2.5 ft.

The crack rendered my phone unusable... And right now a replacement screen is $150 so I ended up getting an insurance replacement.

I now highly recommend a little more case personally, but its your choice obviously... Just sharing my experience for the benefit of others.

That picture made me cringe and a few tears rolled down my face. I'll have to keep looking. If anyones ever gotten a phone froma costco "wireless advocate" kiosk, they started giving out these very nice tpu cases with phone purchases.

I had the GS4 and the tpu case barely added any bulk and sustained a fall from about 6 feet to its side, then landed on the screen on concrete ( i was using the flashlight above my head and it slipped out of my hand because i was holding it weird.) It didn't even sustain a scratch, the edges of the case come up above the screen ever so slightly just enough to keep the screen from touching when its face down.

If i could find something like that i would be ecstatic! I'll keep everyone updated.

I have the Incipio case and LOVE it. I do realize that a drop will probably damage the phone, but for laying the phone on bars, etc and not having the back get messed up, I think it is worth it.

PS: I am a hater of all phone cases. This one is just completely invisible to me.

The incipio feather is indeed a perfect solution for avoiding scuffs and scratches.

I would like to hear about the diztronic as well if someone could chime in.

This is a great case. Feels much more secure in your hand compared to using no case. I bought the black. I also use this sleeve. Amazon.com: iGadgitz Black Leather Pouch Case Cover for Samsung Galaxy Note 2 II N7100 Android Smartphone Tablet: Cell Phones & Accessories

It was a little tight when I first got it but after using it about a week it fits well with the Incipio case. I don't like screen protectors so this helps protect the screen when not in use.

I just got the Incipio case in black and I love it so far, and I usually hate cases. The phone feels so much more secure in my hand now. Thanks to all in this thread who recommended out.

I need to return my broken phone today, but since I got the Tudia case in I took some side by side pictures of the Incipio feather and Tudia Ultra Slim TPU cases. The second pic is a shot taken across the screen of the G2 with the Incipio on it, and the Tudia encased G2 is sitting right behind it so you can see the difference in height... that black line is it.

Initial thoughts: Tudia is MARGINALLY bigger, almost imperceptible, but it has a full coverage around the edges (what got me with the feather) and a small lip sticking past the screen that would protect it from a faceplant drop onto a mostly smooth surface. However, the Incipio has just the right amount "stick" so it doesn't slide out of your hand, whereas the Tudia back is very slick, so I have to hold it with my pinky under the bottom to keep it from sliding out of my hand when I'm holding it with one hand. There might be another Tudia ultra slim that doesn't have this slick back, but I didn't get that.

Here is the Tudia I ordered - Amazon.com: TUDIA Ultra Slim Melody Series TPU Protective Case for LG G2 (for Verizon ONLY) - Black: Cell Phones & Accessories

I have heard some good things about the Diztronic TPU case. If anybody has one and could comment on the slim factor or lack thereof, I'm sure the OP would appreciate it.

Just got my Diztronic 30 minutes ago. Was worried that the cutouts might be missing or not correct but all look fine. And yes, it's lightweight and thin. It's much grippier than the eel-snot slick battery cover.
