COIN - One card to rule them all...

I'm already on the verge...with the fraud protection linked to my cc and debit card accounts at bank of america. It seems that at least once a week my card is declined due to "fraud protection" and I'm in the middle of the store calling customer service to unlock the stupid card! It's really becoming more of an inconvenience than an asset at this point!I'm actually considering taking my accounts elsewhere because of it...
Have you talked to BofA about this? I've had my BofA accounts since 1991 and this just doesn't happen to me. If it did--especially that often--I'd be on the phone saying "fix this or else!"

yes I have!!!! I have been with them for years as well.. and all I get is I'm so sorry maa'm...we apologize for the inconvenience...blah blah...it started about six months ago...one time it was a 2.25 cents item from Amazon that triggered it! I think it's a computer glitch that sets it off or something...plus Merrill Lynch merged with them and I have account with them as well...maybe I'm stuck on some weird loop... when it happened to me at the vet last week and I was late picking up my son from school trying to straighten it out ..the receptionist told me it was happening to her as well...and she switched banks because of it...ugh I would hate to move my accounts because I have so many air miles and perks n stuff racked up..it would suck to lose that!! they literally have me trapped in their web of banking hell!!!!;)

I got really excited about a similar concept when there were rumors regarding a Google Wallet physical card that would function similarly. This one is still a pretty cool idea, but I really only ever use one of two cards (or Wallet) so not worth the $50-100 for me.

BAM

Go get yours (for free): https://wallet.google.com/

(To be entirely fair, this isn't quite what we were all hoping it would be. This is essentially a free prepaid debit card tied to your Wallet balance (and not necessarily the cards or other payment methods tied to your Wallet). Very much still a traditional card. It may not be quite the same, becuase it doesn't connect to your existing cards directly, but it could be handy when traveling or going to a restaurant. Just leave your cards at home, take Google's card pre-loaded. Transfer the rest, except for a penny back.
