"Please check back tomorrow"

My order has said "Your order is currently being processed, please check back tomorrow." since yesterday around 3:00 p.m. pacific time. Still no charge hit my bank account.

Today is the day. In my view, they will have to start shipping the phones today if we expect them on Thursday.

When I get to work I am calling the internet sales team and I'm going to get a solid answer if it's the end of me. I am not going to bed tonight without a tracking number or at least my bank account being hit for the charge. I'm getting tired of this.

I agree. I just got off the phone with internet sales. I had to call twice to get any kind of answer. The first person I talked to said that there was nothing wrong with my order. The second person I talked to said that it showed that the phones were on backorder. I told her that there were orders placed two days after mine that already had tracking numbers. She said those were processed by the automated system and that mine had to be processed by hand. Has any one with the Order Status: Your order is currently being processed, please check back tomorrow got there tracking number yet?

My order status changed sometime overnight last night. "Order Status: Your order is currently being processed. Please check back tomorrow."

I called again to make sure everything was in line, the rep told me that my order would be shipping out today, and I should have my email and tracking by tonight or early tomorrow... Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Well, I called just now and the gal told me there's nothing wrong with my order.. no holds, no flags. She said I have that status "we have received your order. Please check back tomorrow" because the phone isn't due out till the 29th, and if I haven't gotten my phone by Thursday, then to call back. :eek: I think I'll give it a few hours today and call back if my status hasn't changed. I don't know if they log customer calls in the customer database and keep track of how many times you call.. I'm afraid if I keep calling, they'll get mad and put a hold on it just for spite.. lol. (Paranoid or what?)

Great news! Mine has been in that status since yesterday and my bank still hasn't been hit and I don't have any tracking info yet.

Did your bank or credit card get hit for the charge yet?

I'm going to assume that since I paid extra for overnight the reason mine still says processing is that as soon as the do hit my account, then the ball gets rollin to ship it out. I think maybe that was why the folks who called and were able to order got their phones already. It seems that the Customer Service Reps who took the call didn't know they were supposed to hold from charging until the appropriate time so that the phone would arrive by the 29th.

This is all theory mind you. If I am wrong and DON'T receive my phone on Thursday, I will be mighty upset. Although, in all honesty I don't think we will have too many issues, unlike ZAGG of course!

So, yesterday I talked to a processor in Belvue, WA (I'm in the west) right before my status changes to processing. He called me. I didn't call him and the number he called me from is a non-callable number. He was obviously a processor as he had no customer service skills. Said he's just getting everything queued up to be processed on Wednesday morning (and shipped overnight for Thursday delivery.) I asked him if he could push mine out early and he said the instruction he had been given was to do everything Wednesday morning....

So, my guess (if he is right) is that none of us will see a different status until tomorrow. Hopefully I'm wrong, but I'm personally not going to worry about it until tomorrow. He seemed to know what he was doing. At this point, I guess I don't care whether I get 2 day shipping today or overnight tomorrow, it will come the same day either way... Good luck to everybody.

Ok, so I called the internet sales team again and I am satisfied with what I was told. I am not going to bother them anymore.

I live in San Diego. She told me the phone is backordered on the west right now and that my order is set to process on 4/28 and I will still get my phone on 4/29. Before she even said anything she said that my order is set to process on 4/28 or earlier, but probably 4/28 and ship out that day.

She sounded like she knew what she was talking about and she said my bank will be charged when they process my order. I asked if I will be getting the phone on 4/29 as promised and she said yes.

So while it's still in limbo, I believe her. I believe they are getting more phones in today to complete all of these orders. If I don't get my order processed tomorrow, then I will be worried. But until then I am taking her word for it.

Read my post above, this coincides to exactly what I was told. I'm also in the west. The only difference in my story is that the lady told me the phone is backordered and my order will process tomorrow for delivery on 4/29.

Our stories finally seem to have some cohesion, and especially since we both live on the west coast. I believe this story and am now not very worried. We will get our phones on 4/29.

I had the same status as most of you do with "current being processed. check again tomorrow." It has been over 24 hours with same status. So I demanded supervisor at internet sales. She discovered that other regional office screwed up my order and put it "on hold" for no reason. So I asked for it to be cancelled due to mishandling of order and placed order again. When I place new order at 10:30AM today. by 11:00AM, My new order went to "processed, you should received the order 2-3 days."

So, My suggestion, Demand the supervisor as the supervisor can get more further information than those CSRs. They give you wrong information. Because the CSRs told me that my order was "completed" while supervisor found it was NEVER completed!

well sounds like i got the same thing a few others got. called this morning and the woman i spoke to was very nice (i would recommend calling in the mornings before they get 100's of the same question - that tends to make reps grumpy ive noticed :p) i told her i just wanted to verify that id still be receiving my phone on thursday. she said i would, they are processing and getting shipped out today and tomorrow. gave her my order number and less than a minute after i hung up with her my status changed from "we have recieved your order" to "your order is processing." no complaints there!

also - ive noticed a couple posts back some people worrying that the $1 hold charge has disappeared from their account. not to worry, mine did the same thing. i asked my boyfriend about it (who used to work in credit card processing) and he said that thats normal if the hold waits for a certain amount of time (usually 3-5 days with no activity depending on the bank). he said the $1 charges are usually just to verify that it is an active account. So in the end, when our orders are officially processed, the whole charge will still be able to go through, even without that $1 hold.

Like measel, I just called back and demanded to talk to a supervisor. The CSR obviously has to ask why, so I simply said that I keep calling about my order and I am getting 20 different answers. I kept it polite though.

She immediately got a supervisor on the phone for me. The supervisor told me the truth is that there is a very high demand for this phone and they are having trouble keeping up the stock. So they have put in requests with HTC and they are delivering more and more each day to fulfill all of the preorders.

She said my order would be processed today or tomorrow. If it processes today, my phone will ship out with 2 day FedEx. If it processes tomorrow then it would ship out with overnight FedEx. She said either way I should have my phone on 4/29.

That's what I'm going to roll with and see what happens from here.

I called at noon to ask why my status had been stuck at "we've received your order", and after assuring me that nothing was wrong, my status updated to "currently being processed" within minutes of hanging up. So I'm hopeful that "processed" will come through later this afternoon and be shipped tomorrow.

Granted, I'd really love to have gotten my phone tomorrow, but I'm alright with Thursday... just as long as I get it ;)
