Root [Virgin Mobile] [REQUEST] VM 4.3 MK5 UPDATE.ZIP (Please Upload)

Concerning The MK5 Stock System (While on KNOX Bootloader):
Its somewhat advisable to USE CWM 6.0.4.3 it seems to work better for Touchwiz backup/restore

It Would seem that i am not able to restore from a backup in any scenario ( w/ /data and cache; w/o /data and /cache) when using CWM versions below 6.0.4.3 Not sure why but this is just my experience so far...
I experience bootloops, bootups with complete system FCs (just a mob of them), Booting but not connecting to any networks.... And this is just trying to restore a stock backup from CWM in order to establish a working point to make a ROM...
Sooooo Strange!!! Also the Backup that restored the most consistently in CWM 6.0.4.3 was the one i set to be in tar+gunzip format

I am suspicious of our new bootloader in conjunction with modified touchwiz systems creating problems..... Or maybe there are permissions changes in Touchwiz 4.3 that the older recoveries are having problems with.... But this is just conjecture.

@[XDA]-[Recovery] Flashable and the Latest - CWM 6.0.4.3 - TWRP 2.6.3.0 - Stock

On the other hand AOSP 4.3 backups restore fine on most any CWM version.

I am on stock 4.1.2 unrooted. I try putting the zip onto my phone using windows explorer on a win 8 computer. I dont actually see a folder called sdcard but I just put it "phone" folder which I think is the same thing.

When I boot into recovery and try to boot from external it just shows an empty sd.

Do I have to be rooted for it to see the zip? DOes it have to be unzipped?

If I knew then what I know NOW, I would have waited to update.

Okay I am new to this...and trying my best but I am stuck.

I updated to 4.3 from 4.1 in android recovery mode.

I flashed CWM-Recovery-LTE-SGS3-v5.tar (1).md5 in odin 3.07 to my phone.

I have DL the newest slim beean build and aio gapps. How do I flash these to my phone? If anyone can give a short but detailed explanation it would be great. Can I put on my microsd and flash using using stock android recovery?

Is it NECESSARY to backup my phone before flashing or can I just recover my phone wth the 4.3 zip I just used to update at any time?

Wait I'm confused, how do I update if I'm on CM10.2 (4.3.1) MD7 & CWM 6.0.4.3? :s

I would advise staying where you're at for the moment..
But if you really want to update to stock 4.3 I would follow the return to stock guide stickied here in the forum and then flash the update zip with stock recovery. That's the best way.. until a flashable zip is made that is.

ANy help is appreciatedd..

*Edit I switched mobile data from lte cdma evdo to cdma evdo and now I have 3g. I would still like to get that 4g fix working though.

By "apk" backup and restore, did you mean "APN"?
In regards to APN Backup and Restore did you Disable ICS Check?

I'm still working on trying to get a flashable copy of our stock VM Touchwiz MK5 4.3 system to boot properly.... Not sure what is going on....
I had just reformatted my computer recently and have yet to install the android SDK for debugging... I'll do that now and should probably be able to pinpoint the problem.

I've already exhausted all the easy possibilities....

IVE GOT ONE BOOTING!!!!! I Finally got a CWM flashable ZIP to Boot!!!!

Bad News.... No Radios Yet.... :( (probably should have gone ODEXED for the first good RUN instead of deodexed...) I'll Get it soon. :)

Also This Boots w/ 3G.... Its a sprint ROM at XDA:[ROM][MK3][4.3]Das_ROM

Android Kitchen; which speeded up a lot of ROM Baking processes, only supports api levels up to 17. ( e.g. android 4.2, 4.2.2)
SO i've had to improvise some things.... but rest assured i'm resourceful and i have a whole week to kill; I'll do this thing damnit!! ;)

2nd Booting ROM..... GEtting There!!!! (IT was never this hard on 4.1.2.... :()
