Help Random reboot/battery loss

Have seen this issue posted a bunch..haven't seen anything about a cause and/or solution.

I've had this thunderbolt for going on 3 years and have been running a version of BAMF since I got it. It's been great and this is the first real issue I've had.

The phone seems to only restart when underload..like in the middle of internet browsing, snap chat, camera et cetera. It doesn't seem to do it when just sitting with wi-fi tether open.

Anyone have any insight or ideas? It's been so long since I rooted and flashed BAMF I'm not even sure how to do it anymore.

1) Unless properly formed, a Lithium Ion battery will give you 18-24 months of normal service. The battery could be nearing the end of its life and the terminal voltage could be dropping under heavy load - dropping enough to cause the phone to restart.

2) The battery could be throwing dendritic shorts, dropping the voltage enough to restart the phone (even though they burn themselves out almost immediately).
