Seriously this whole thing reminds me of the nexus 4 launch last year.

I'm just gonna keep my white at&t version.
Really like that cement gray with white front though...oh well! Maybe try again tonight.

Yeah, it's still messed up for some I guess. I've seen success and failure on G+, DE's seem to be having slightly better luck than MotoMakers. I've got one (DE) sitting in my cart, really want to pull the trigger but really can't justify it either. sigh

Well, gave up on the motomaker and having a customized Moto X. Just finished purchasing a DE GSM. Process was smooth. Had to create a Google+ profile to purchase the 2yr extended coverage.
Good luck to everyone else.

Looking at the Google+ comments, it seems there was a six minute window open to order a MotoMaker. I already had everything made and in my cart. I would just hit refresh every so often. It went through, then hung up. It took about 5-6 tries and I finally got through to the payment page. It hung up. I then got to the submit page and it gave me an error. I finally got it to go though and received my confirmation email. I should expect delivery on Friday.

I didn't want to keep waiting on moto maker so around noon I ordered a vzw DE.

Looks like everyone will get another chance Wednesday and next Monday.

I would love to see the wooden backs. I would jump all over that, If not I'll keep the Dev edition.

Just used the new system (holiday2daysale) for ordering a customized phone. Right at 9am. No problem but now wait to see if the email arrives "within the next few hours".

At approximately 9:10a PT, motorola twitted the promo is sold out. "....Moto X is sold out at it’s promo price today....". Must have been an eyedropper supply?

Sold out in 8 minutes. Really makes you wonder how many they were offering. I've decided not to get another one anyway but that sure was quick!!

well i successfully registered for a PROMO code, looks like the registration is closed. now i just wait for my email.

They said a couple of hours, I bet they roll them out at once, or most of them anyways.

yup just got that email also, they probably sent it out because people are freaking out about the code.

Ordered another one as a gift, and it looks like they handled the process well. Got the promo code within an hour+ (checked back and it was there, so don't know the exact duration).

Ordered without a hitch. The nice part about it, is if you "share" the new device you just built on G+, they give you an immediate $10 Google Play credit.
