I see there was a fix for the streaming media problem - works great now! What about the apps that are missing from the market? Any progress down that avenue? I've mentioned it a few times in other threads, but I would like to get MLB At Bat 2010 back!

Help Missing Apps with 2.1

It has to due with the market recognizing 2.1 on the moment as not official. Not sure if we have to wait for it to be released or not.

does anyone know what the market looks at? maybe we can edit it to fake it to think it's a legit 2.1?

I don't know why people complain about some things not working in a leaked unofficial older version of 2.1. 99.9% chance it's a much later release that will end up

Understand that. So far I love 2.1, I can live with the shortcomings until they get fixed because its that much better than what we had before. Just thought I would start a new thread instead of trying to dig through dozens of other threads. I'm also pretty sure I'm not the only one wondering whats going on with the apps.

I think I used something like "MLB AT BAT ANDROID 2.1"

One thing I can tell you is that Google Earth does not work, it installs but it won't open.

Go to the market and download "Connectbot"
Open It, And Select "Local" from the pull down menu that says ssh.
Where it says "Nickname", type "Local"
Then type "getprop | busybox grep MSL" (without the quotes)
Then get the 6 digit number, and write it down.
Then go to "phone > Dialer > ##3282# > Multimedia > Enter "MSL" > You will see RTST Proxy, HTTPPD Proxy > modify every list > set Address with "0.0.0.0", port with '0'."
