Hudl problem

Using conventional transfer methods, my Hudl will not accept music or video from Windows 7. I am using files that it says it WILL accept [apart from mp4 which it says it will but will but won't!]. Its acceptance of anything is limited to the folder which transfers empty.
I have been advised to download 'Android Transfer Files' onto my computer but those that I have found will not download either!
Any advice?

Hello!

Thanks for the reply. The app. I mentioned is the only one that I have on the Hudl.
The error message I recieve is at the end of the synchronisation process that I carry out using Windows Media Player [cable].
As in any normal 'sync' process in WMP, I make a song list [mp3 as recommended by Hudl] in the 'sync' field area then click 'synchronise now'. The process seems to be working : when it's finished, I am asked to look at 'sync.results' and each track appears, labelled with 'sync. stopped'!

Rather than trying to use WMP to sync with the Hudl, you could try dragging and dropping MP3's from your computer. If you connect the Hudl to your computer and, using windows explorer, navigate to the Hudl, is there a folder called media/songs/music? If so, you should be able to find the songs you want (again using windows explorer) and then copy them to the folder on the Hudl :)

Sorry... I don't know what that file is.

I was actually referring to opening windows explorer on your computer (when the Hudl is connected) and opening the "music"/"media" folder. Next, open another windows explorer window and navigate to the music that's stored on your computer. You should then be able to then click on/drag tracks to the folder on the Hudl :)
