Root [Virgin Mobile] [ROM][MK5][STOCK][ODEXED/DEODEXED]- Virgin Mobile/Boost Mobile

Alright, so yesterday I decided to flash mopedryders rom. I had no signal or data. So I went and I downloaded the mg2 modem and I flashed it. Still I had no signal or data. I even tried flashing the md7 modem but that didn't work either. So I just decided to restore my backup of 4.3 and now everything is good again except for my previous problem.

As of right now I'm done messing with this rom. I'm gonna go ahead and try out cm 11 and see how that works out.

Also, I would like to take the time to say thank you to anyone that attempted to help me out. It's because of people like you that this community is where it's at today!!

Alright, so here's a little update about my issue(call quality):
I decided to flash midnightrom: GS3 4.3, and my call quality was still the same. Then afterwards, I downloaded and flashed cyanogenmod 11. I did a test call and the other person said they heard me crystal clear. I stayed on the line for a few minutes and during the whole time the other person was able to hear me perfectly. I have no idea why this is happening. Maybe my phone doesn't like 4.3.

So, as of right now I restored my previous backup because for me the sms and mms is iffy.

Have you tried dkp's kernel? He made a fix dealing with voice processing recently.

Well... unfortunately no luck. My call quality is the same. I'm gonna flash cm 10.2 and see if I can get mms working on 4g. My call quality seems to be fine on cm. I tried cm 11 earlier today and the call quality was crystal clear but mms for me was iffy on both 3g and 4g even with the apn fixes.
Thanks anyway though!

ATTENTION:
Myself and others have tested this on CyanogenMod11 and found that the 2nd MOD worked (the LTE fix). As long as you use Hangouts instead of the stock Messaging app it should work.

*Please report back whether this works or doesn't for you.*

I tested this on the MK5 modem with Knox via the OTA and it worked for me!

Hope this helps! Thanks for the MOD!

This is from the Mod post I posted earlier. Try and see if it works. (the MMS) It worked perfectly for me every time.

I just flashed it. I haven't tested anything out yet but I am wondering if it is normal to get a popup saying "unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped". It popped up right after I rebooted my phone. Also, should I wipe cache and dalvik?

I get the same error. It comes in bundles of 2. Haven't had any problems and only shows up right after I boot it up so, for now, I'm just gonna shrug it off as nothing to worry about.

Personally, I always wipe cache and dalvik cache. It's up to you if the dev doesn't say to though.

Yaaaaay!!! Everything seems to be working so far! I was able to send and receive mms on both 3g and 4g.

I'm gonna stick with this rom for a few days and see how everything works out.
You have earned yourself a thank you good sir!!:D

If you're flashing mods, tweaks, apn/mms fixes, custom kernels, etc, chances are you're going to have issues. Gentlemen, I've said it before and TheBritton put it in post 2. If you have issues, completely wipe everything and flash again. Also remember anything, apps, mods, kernels, etc etc that you flash to your phone that's not already on your phone when you first get it from the store(aka "stock"), you are potentially going to have problems. I understand how frustrating it is when you're phone isn't performing exactly how you want, but this is a STOCK ROM, meaning there's nothing to "look into" since nothing was done to it. If it doesn't meet your needs, there are other options available :) Thanks and Merry Christmas.
