Screen Protector on my Note 3?

Has anyone other than myself had issues getting a screen protector to apply smoothly? My other phones no problem. The Note is a whole other issues bubbles everywhere. I have tried three different brands two where quite expensive?

I used the Spigen SGP Ultra Crystal and although it came with two protectors, I managed a good job on the first one, no bubbles and an excellent fit, I have had some fun in the past but I would say its easier on this phone than the Note 2.

OP Please list the ones you had issues with. Pretty much all high end phones use Gorilla Glass I'm guessing. Don't know why you suddenly are having problems.
I installed an Iloome 8H without any issues at all, it was magical actually.
Since then, the Iloome has began to fall apart below the home button. I'm switching to another protector and am not looking forward to the install.

To be clear, I was not blaming the phone. This is just a much larger screen than I am accustomed to. The purpose of this post was to get ideas of what different methods people use. Some folks are much better at certain tasks then others. I am sorry if my question has upset you? I would have much rather had some friendly advise?

The biggest problem you will get is not air bubbles but dust, its a damn pain in the @ss trying to get it done first time, the more you have to lift it back to get dust spots off, the more chance of more dust getting in.
There are a wide variety of screen protectors out there and obviously some are going to be better than others, like I say I use Spigen because I have used them on my Note 2, not tried any others, but with the note 3, I just lined the home button up then it was a matter of getting the bubbles out, the hinge method on a post above looks a good way tbh, well worth a try.

Go and pay the $25 and have Ghost Armor put on your phone. Shits practically scratch proof, my screen is 100% perfect and I've had this phone for 4 months now.

Will just about any store carry this? We have a small agency store here. The closest company owned Verizon is 100 miles away.I'm up in the middle of the rockies 100 miles in any direction to a large city.

I did replace mine using the hinge method, got only a few bubbles. Another factor that can make it fun is doh hair:thinking:

Upset me? Wow, not even close.
I was just trying to find out what type of screen protector you tried so we could give advise. Not all go on the same. Most are a pain no matter what. The Iloome was amazingly easy like I stated. Just drop it on, lined up of course, touch the center of the screen and it just sucks right to the phone. This was the first tempered glass protector I've tried, much easier than the Zagg for example.

Hre's a link to a Ghost Armor Kiosk near you. Of course seeing as how nothing is actually near you I don't know how useful this will be Cell Phone & Tablet Clear Screen Scratch Protection, Carbon Fiber Skins, Matte Covers for iPhone, iPad, Samsung, Google, Android | Ghost Armor.

How did you end up in such an isolated place Rich? Was it a conscious decision on your part or were you born there?

Thanks, sometime the written word is not the best way to communicate as it lacks the ability to add feeling to the context. At least in my case.

Back to the subject I have tried a couple brands the last was called Super shields. Like I said I tried the hinge method and it helped allot the only place I now have bubbles is along the edges.

No joke the show mountain men on history channel is files 10 miles up the road in a huge wilderness called the yaak. I went to your link typed in my zip and the map locater came back with like YEAH.....RIGHT!!!!!:p . I sure maybe Missoula about 140 miles. I am a hermit at heart I worked for years in IT dealing with people who where pi??ed off all the time!! I am in poor health and when I go I want to be in a place of Awe inspiring Beauty!! No pi??ed off people being rude to someone they did not even know. People don't realize what a truly hard job it is, most don't make it very long this with about 25+ doing it myself 15 in management. Everyone please excure my off subject?

So with covers what brands do you all find the best? I also soon need one for my Tab 2. I rarely take on mountain passes in winter to go to Kalispell. Amazon is my outlet.

What a dream to live where you do! If I could swing it financially, I'd do the same.
Since Amazon is your friend, I'd go with the Iloome 8 or 9H. The 9H is pretty thick and probably won't work with a fully covered case like the Otterbox Defender. Watch some videos on YouTube, you won't believe it. Actually hit the screen with a hammer and the phone was not damaged!

You know it was not easy.I just sold everything out east , packed what was left into my KIA Soul, including the dogs.....oil and off we went. Have a small house with a river outback right at the end of a road. Even have a gate, Mountains everywhere, deer and elk walk around like your not even there. I had three deer born in my yard they are like pets.

Sorry about the off subject.

Yeah it's a 10.1. I love the thing ...my computer is almost history,I keep the TV hooked up to it. The Tab is my bud, I am addicted. A bet a otter box if they make it for 10.1 is $$? My biggest thing is still getting used of the file structure, where Android stores what? and what can be put into SD memory and what can't. I can myrtle my way through Unix but have not played with file manager much, I was on Windows servers for years....actually way to long thinking back. Thanks to there quality I made a decent living I guess, gotta Love Microsoft, until I tried Android, now I want a Chromebook...lol:thumbup::thumbup:

The Otterbox Defender series would be almost perfect for your situation with the Tab 2. Unforunately the Otterbox Armor series is the only one that is waterproof and they don't make those for the Tab 2. I think a waterproof case would suit you perfectly Rich. Is that Tab 2 a 7 or 10 inch version?

Don't mean to hijack but...
I had an Armour series on my iphone for two days and returned it to AT&T.
Great protective case that weighed about 12.5lbs I think;-).
The problem was hearing the ring tone and worse yet hearing a caller.
Has anybody used the Armour with the G3 and experienced the same issue?
