Root [Virgin Mobile] [MOD][MK5][4.3+]All Things Mods!

CM11 actually has it baked into the ROM, no need for a module. Go to Settings/Lockscreen, last option on the page is to maximize widgets. I always use this feature because I really, really like Dashclock on my lock screen, and it is more usable when already expanded. Can confirm that the module works on M.O.A.R. and Wicked Sensations (latest 4.3 versions). Can't remember off the top of my head if Wanam has it as a feature as well, it might just because Wanam is so extensive, just like XBlast Tools.
It works on jdsingle's deodex'd.
I couldn't find any option to do it in Wanam.

Check out this new app available on XDA:

[App][4.0+] Quickr - bring truly touch experience - xda-developers

I have been using apps like Sidebar Pro and @ppbar to provide a hidden dock which is swiped from the side of the screen for a long time now, Carbon ROM includes it by default under the name Ribbons (I believe that particular feature is an AOKP port). This looks like an awesome way to expand on the gesture capabilities of our phones. Just downloaded, am going to install after work tonight and give it a run. Still in beta, so bugs are to be expected.

While you're on XDA, check out this method of theming the actual website, it is super sick! Now, on my computer browser, XDA website looks like a proper Holo Dark experience. Maybe someone can figure out how to do this for our forums, it relies on a browser plug-in called Stylish.

I also found a computer program recently that does a good job of converting various music and video file types to other music and video file types. I have been using it to convert MP3 files into OGG files, which I then insert into the appropriate spot in a ROM .zip file so that my ringtones and notifications show up immediately after flashing, instead of having to copy, paste, and then reboot after getting the ROM up and running (this is more of an issue for the notification sounds, my personal ringtones are found just fine by the system). If anyone is interested just let me know.

OK, have a new mod for Xposed for you guys, XDA just posted about it. Mod is from awesome developer MohammedAG, and is called Xposed Preferences Injector. What this does is insert lines into the standard Settings of the ROM for accessing all installed Xposed modules on a phone, including the Installer. Attached is a screenshot from my phone after installing a few minutes ago.

And here is the link for the XDA thread:

Wanted to share some themes from a couple of developers with you guys, one is a dev whose themes I have been using for some time, the other I just discovered a few days ago.

First, themer Vicino has a whole line of very nice themes, although unfortunately I haven't seen any updates from him in a while. One of my favorites is linked here:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vicino.theme.BlueLimeFree&hl=en

Don't worry about the CM 10.2 in the description, his themes work just fine on CM 11 or any other KitKat ROM with the Theme Engine installed. Scroll to the bottom to see his other themes; BlueMint is also very nice, as is BlueMoon and Frosty.

And the new ones I have found are from JBlundon, I am currently rocking his TR3MOR theme in support of my Broncos (the theme is orange); looks like his themes are the same base, but various color options depending on your preference; the 5UBZ3RO, 5CORP1ON, and 5MOK3 themes also look really nice, the dev is apparently a big fan of the Mortal Kombat video game series. Well worth the buck and a half each, in my opinion.

OK guys, if you would like a new splash screen (out of more than 100 possibilities!!), check out this thread on XDA:

Splash Screens - xda-developers

These were put together by XDA member balcoresbane, he works closely with the team for Wicked Sensations. Follow the directions in OP, but you will need to modify (delete) the assert lines first, just like when modifying a Sprint ROM. I can confirm these to work after modifying, and they also work on latest dkp kernel for AOSP 4.4, despite the warning in the OP.

For those of you who have checked out the splash screens made by @balcoresbane over on XDA, he is currently making some for decimalman (dkp kernel), who has requested one to be included in future versions of the dkp kernel. There are three options posted by @balcoresbane that anyone can download and use in conjunction with dkp kernel right now, we will see what decimalman picks to be included as a standard splash screen when flashing dkp kernel!

Regarding assert line deletion, should the Updater-Script begin with
ui_print
Thanks

Wanam breaks all my games for some reason, and only games. Have to reload the ROM to get them to work again.

Time to reload. All this work for a red colored wifi indicator. :)

XBlast Tools can do custom indicator colors as well. Really awesome module, one of my favorites. Wanam is supposed to be pretty nice for TW based ROM's though, but I have heard of multiple problems after the latest update to Wanam as well. Recommended that you don't install both at the same time, due to possible conflicts.
