Root [Virgin Mobile] APN Settings for Google Hangouts

I have had zero issues on either 3G or WiFi when using Hangouts for both SMS and MMS. I use the APN fix from MopedRyder for MMS both ways, it has worked well for me on 4.3.x in the past and now on 4.4.x, especially CM11. Pretty sure the APN option in Hangouts was removed with the December 13 update. You can access your APN's two ways in CM11:

1. Open Voice Dialler app, then say either "Open APN" or "Edit APN" slowly and clearly (I always include the slowly and clearly part because Google has the worst time picking up my deep voice, so I have to speak to it like a child lol!)

2. Using Nova Launcher, long press on screen, choose Shortcuts/Activities/Settings/APNs and Nova will add a shortcut on your home screen

Which MopedRyder Mod did you use? And alright. I'm gonna try to use that S3 Apn Mod you gave me.

I use the mod for send and receive MMS on 3G. I don't have LTE so have no need of the other one. Am certainly curious to hear your results with the zip provided by Cjen1987 for sure.

Edit: Thanks to @junkie2100 it looks like the mod by Cjen1987 is a fraud. Stick with what MopedRyder has provided.

So after flashing the Cjen1987 mod, I tried the Sprint EPHRE (whatever its called lol), Sprint LTE, Virgin EPHRE, Virgin LTE, and APN2 Virgin MMS setting. And they all didn't work for me :( Also, when I chose the LTE setting, I noticed it defaulted back to Sprint EPHRE when I went back to APN settings.

EDIT: I am now going to flash MopedRyder Mod #1 Current AOSP/CM/TW MOD (3G & w/MMS both ways & possible LTE

Could I possibly see screenshots of the APN you're using struckn? And your "about device" settings as well? Thanks.

SOLVED So I figured it out. I had the x over the mobile data icon while wifi was on. I thought that I had turned off 3G and enabled Wifi but turns out I disable mobile network and enabled Wifi.

Funny thing is, I just flashed the new update and it totally deleted all my APNs.

I would recommend restoring a stock backup or flashing JD's ROM, Wicked Sensations, or M.O.A.R., and then restoring PRL and Profile first. Should clear up any funky issues related to phone service for you.
