as the title says. i was searching and saw that a player called 'mixzang' was praised. but i noticed that as of now it does not work in kitkat. saw the poweramp but only free trial. now i am using a media player called mx player that also plays audio but it is very limited. stock player, es player, mx player all skip the ending of the song. specially when the screen turns off.
reqirements:
equalizer
supports as many formats as possible
playlist support. also making playlist.
option to play all songs of a folder
radio if possible
lyrics support if possible

i wanted something like vlc player but looks like there is none. i am willing to consider paid app if necessary but has to work on all my devices (two phones and a tablet) unlike apple inc. (that will make you buy same app for each devices :smokingsomb:)
thanks guys.

Can't really help you with a player, but felt the need to clear up your misconception regarding Apple.

Apple doesn't make you pay for multiple copies of the same app (for different devices), the app developer does, has nothing to do with Apple.
of course you are right. last time i bought anything apple when they first came up with 60GB video ipod :D the rigamarole with itunes , how it was the most annoying software ever invented left a very bad taste for me. last straw was when i lost my entire cd collection (ripped to mp3 by me) to itunes. at that time there was no way to transfer it back to computer hard drive after it was added to itunes library. i gave the ipod to a friend of mine, uninstalled itunes, washed my hands off that company.
Google music?
that is what i meant by stock player. if the screen is off, it skips the end of song

thanks for all the replies guys.
God help me but i am trying a free player without any ads from playstore called rocket player. which probably is an apple product :D. anyone else using this? i am uncertain about internet radio and lyrics support. just glad that it has playlist and folder play option.
i noticed that while running this app seems to use data network, while tethering i noticed hiccups in youtube. in four hours running this player used 43KB of data  whats up with that?
