Is there a real working antenna booster for the S3? I'm on Verizon, and in one critical area of my daily work commute, we have "Drop Dead Corner"! This is actually a stretch of a few miles in a minor valley between a few small hills. On one end, it begins when I go around a corner of the the hills; on the other, it begins with a downhill into the valley (less than 200 feet).
Sometimes, if the atmospheric conditions are friendly, I can spend ten miutes holding my phone right up next to the windshield and make it all the way around the bend. More often not!!
Strangely enough, my friend with his older flip phone can almost always make it totally around the bend and through the zone without dropping a call. We can be talking to each other as we drive the same route, and my phone will drop out but his will hold the call.
Is there anything I can do or add or adjust to boost my antenna's signal reception?
