Formal Goodby, thanks for all the fishies!

It has been truly fun. I think I am going to use my protection plan to get a new phone. I was going to just up and get a Nexus 5, and keep the LG Connect to play around with. However I wont have money for that for a while, and considering all the crap my phone has been pulling I think it is time to exchange it out.

I am currently looking at either the LG Optiumus F3 or LG Optimus L9. Not sure which yet.

I would like to personally thank all who have made my experience on this phone a livable experience. In no paticular order, PlayfulGod, LDrifta, K0nane, Markolo25, mtmichaelson, ChiweN, djrbliss, ShabbyPenguin, Miami01guy, Dracconus, and anyone else who has helped this community that I have forgotten.

Go for the f3 or f6. They have a good working 2ndinit recovery and nice mods. The l9 is pretty much locked down with the bootloader issues and has less power than the f6.

Not true, I unlocked the bootloader for my little brother and got his running CM. The F6 is a nice phone though and the f3 and f6 do good on battery.

I got one l9 to unlock bootloader after almost a month of trying. Ive owned two.
The l9 bootloader unlock process is so hit or miss and frustrating for metropcs phones that I'm not even bothering to try the second handset. I likely won't be going back to an lg for a good while. I got an sgs3 for christmas but the next I but with my own money is likely going to be a Motorola.

I got the F3 and I love it, is fast the battery life is about 14 hours, its small and thats all I can say since im not a phone geek...LOL

After more consideration I want to get the F6, however BBY does not carry it.

I was going to wait and see if they will carry it before February (I am still flipfloping on what to do)...

However this phone just did some ridiculous things to me just now (Not being able to place calls due to signal flashing between full bars to no bars continuously, some stupid rebooting and getting notifications late as ****).

I am going to get the F3 today, I am not waiting or playing around anymore. I hope to see some or most of you in the F3 subforums.

Congrats, Welcome to the land of jellybeans. If you still have your lg connect 4g, metro pcs has started an upgrade program and is trading connect 4g for optimus f6. I already have an f6 but will be downgrading back the connect 4g to get me a free phone.
