Android 4.2 in Canada ?

I want to upgrade my Galaxy Tab 2 (GT-P3113) to Android 4.2 (or superior) but i am not getting the update !!!

While googling for it, i discovered that Samsung already started distributing the update in Germany and other countries.... Why can't i get it in Canada ?

Is there a way to manually upgrade my tablet ? I heard it is possible if you root the tablet, but is it confirmed that it will work with model GT-P3113 ? I don't want to risk damaging my tablet.

I live in France and I am still on 4.1.2.
Just set it on auto update (wifi) and wait. From what I can make out the only good thing about 4.2.x is that you can move apps to your external SD card (if you have one), so it's not a game changing upgrade.
You can do the upgrade manually but it involves (I think) rooting your Tab and I prefer to keep to manufacturers standard with little things.

Salut,

I just rooted my device so i am ready to force upgrade.
I checked this tutorial: How to Update Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 (Wi-Fi) P3113 with Android 4.2.2 UECMH2 Jelly Bean Official Firmware - Just Another How To and Tips Blogs

It tells me to download the "Android 4.2.2 UECMH2 Jelly Bean Firmware" but the links are broken. Where can i download it ?

I just bought a tablet for my girlfriend and it's running on 4.2. The major difference i can notice is the keyboard, the buttons are bigger so it is much more easier to type !!! Also i think the new update allows widget on lock screen.

4.2 Full changelog : Android - Android 4.3, Jelly Bean
