I recently upgraded to a new phone and got a great tablet that supports miracast. Unfortunately the quality of the audio via miracast from my tablet is awful BUT the HDMI coming out of the Triumph had always been great. I'm trying to use the MT just to play the Showtime, HBO, TCM and DirecTV apps but the stock version of android doesn't allow me to download or install those apps. My phone is rooted and of course I have never tried installing a ROM but now I have another phone anyway and I'm sure I can back up the stock ROM, so why not give it a go? What's the highest android build I can flash that will support HDMI on the Triumph? Any help would be appreciated. 
Well, it kind of figures for a phone that we all originally thought was a superhero - but turned out to be very mortal indeed due to lack of support from the manufacturer & VMU
