So without any introductions, I'm pretty sure you're all bored of the emerging newbies asking about flashing custom roms. Here I am, yet another one. But I will try to get straight to the point not to annoy you very much.
First of all let me point out the fact that I have a SGS2 i9100G for which I haven't seen any forum here, so I thought I'd post it in the international section and have it kindly moved by the moderators if necessary.
I should like to take a step further and get rid off the stock rom provided with my said phone, and for now I have my eyes on cyanogenmod.
My phone is already rooted (all by myself).
But I need the said ClockworkMod recovery, for which I found multiple ways to install, and would like to have your opinion on which is safer not to automagically transform my phone into a piece of useless metal :
1- As documented in the Cyanogenmod Wiki.
2- As seen on this website.
The latter one seems easier to the naked eye. But which is safer ?
Finally, what are the chances of bricking my phone and how can I possibly recover out of that if it happens ?
