Ummmm I don't understand the question so many things that can be misleading you are trying so hard for 1 thing I would have already slap on a custom ROM but all this hassle for one this seems a bit ridiculous if you can't live with out it but don't want to flash a custom ROM then I guess you will have to live with out it or you will eventually figure it out come on guys help meh out I don't understand the question (sorry if I wasn't much help)

Ummmmmmmmmm.. Thanks jlede i think :D
Its cool, i worked out why theres two different versions of GravityBox (as seen in the pics).
Mine is the KK version, the other one is the JB version.
I dont know why the kk version doesnt have the "hide statusbar" option.. maybe its a kk limitation (?) I know JB roms on my s3 had that option and none of the KK ones do (hence why im not going the custom rom route on my n7 Jlede.. theres no point while theyre so bare in the features department) ;)

Anyway ive asked the dev of Xposed Toolkit (really nice dev) to look into adding the feature and he's gona try

There's something called immersive mode which is the thing you are trying to do and I wouldn't say kk roms are bare on features

Here's the ROM I'm running(called Mahdi) if you plan on going the CR route (to hide the nav bar and status just go to the power menu section in customization and select immersive mode)
Here:[ROM] [4.4.2] [GROUPER] Mahdi-Rom 2.4 [01/17] - xda-developers

Here is another in looking into called Xenon HD
Link:[ROM] [4.4.2] [GROUPER] Mahdi-Rom 2.4 [01/17] - xda-developers

Thanks mate. GravityBox has immersive mode but i dont want the navbar hidden. The Xblast Tools dev is gona try n add it though.
I share the tab with my wife and promised i wouldnt get too geeky with it lol so i dont wana start flashing roms or ill end addicted n she'l never get to use it. Ive put a custom kernel on and Xposed Framework so ill leave it at that and just use my phone as the geek toy :)

Lol tbh i just dont need it being there all the time. If i want to see it i can just swipe down from top of the screen and it appears for a few seconds. I prefer having the screen full of app.
Despite me wanting to keep the navigation bar at the start of this thread, i actually dont use that either now so apps fill the screen from top to bottom now :)

Eh I guess if you like it its a free choice :p
I've done away with the Nav buttons before but I like my status bar too much. Hate the apps that close it, maybe i'm just too damn lazy to reach up and swipe it down.
