10% of Hangouts screen gone

Hi all

10% of hangouts screen is gone on the right side with that being filled by part of the New hangout page.

Its as if the page got stuck as I was dragging it.

And it seems I can't send an SMS.

Any ideas?

Try rebooting?

I think that's normal. Its so you can swipe the message pane back and forward.

Its what I have, and I like it.

press and hold on to the power button till the phone shuts off and restarts. you will see the word Google then let go of the button.

Do you mean like this? If so that's the way it should look. As happydundee said above, it's so you can swipe between the panels

I re-read the op, and that is most likely what the op meant...

What happens when you try to send an SMS? Are you unable to click the "+" sign at the top right, and enter the contact's name (and pick the phone# from the dropdown below)? Or is the SMS getting sent from your phone, and not being delivered?
