Movies' dodgy program code exposed.

Movies' dodgy program code exposed http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-25638870

I know the Terminator has(had) an 8-bit 6502 processor, and not the advanced nural network whatever. Can see the 6502 assembler code in its HUD. And in Westworld, the whole Delos resort is quite possibly running on a DEC PDP8 or similar. Actually I think Westworld (1973) is one of the earliest movies where real program code is visible. Rather than just the usual spinning tapes and flashing lights. Does anyone know of an earlier movie where recognisable code is featured?

Was there any visible code in any of the Star Trek TOS on the screens? I remember an episode of the Twilight Zone with Wally Cox but he was using punch cards. ;)

I would like to see movie code used as an easter egg. Take an image and dump it to a PostScript interpreter and run that code on the screen. Then if it's sent to a PS printer it will produce the original image. :D

If I remember correctly Spock was always looking into a viewmaster to read whatever the computer was displaying. The other displays were just lights.

Billion Dollar Brain(1967) - one of my favourite movies.

The computer was a Honeywell 200, and Honeywell are credited at the end. Don't know what data is on the punch cards in this movie, but I've seen some punch cards with things like "FORTRAN STATEMENT" on them.
