• After 15+ years, we've made a big change: Android Forums is now Early Bird Club. Learn more here.
Read, read, read. These forums are divided by phone, model number/carrier, and the specific information, based on android version, build number, etc found in your device's settings menu/about phone. Different carriers can and often do have different model numbers for the same named device. For example, I have a boost mobile Samsung galaxy s3, model sph-l710. There are several carriers with the same model number, but you still have to read up on boost if you use boost, AT&T if you use AT&T. Then there's the international model that has a different processor and half the RAM of the model I have. Stay with your device/carrier. And once again, I remind you to read things several times, and ask questions if your search doesn't provide answers. This is a community, many people here want to help. Enjoy!
