Good morning all - happy Friday and Valentine's Day!
We got 14" in the first snow fall and then probably another 2-3" over night last night and it froze. It really sucks, but got a nice workout in for it.

Since it's so quiet in here today...
Has anyone ever experienced Spontaneous Glass Explosion?
I HAD a glass coffee table that simply EXPLODED on its own. Seriously, exploded all over the room, sounded like a shotgun went off, glass flying everywhere. If I or the dog had been sitting there, we could have easily been sliced and diced. As it was, there are some small cuts in the leather sofa.
It is a known phenomenon:
Spontaneous glass breakage - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
And it makes sense because the glass top was fixed to the uprights of the frame. So because it could not float, I guess the tension got to be too much.
This has been a public service announcement. And now, back to your regularly scheduled program.

Last week we had 8" then a night later there was 4" more, yesterday 2" and now tonight and into tomorrow they are calling for 2"-4". It doesn't end.

Well that's what I get for bragging about our great weather. . . . my motorcycle was stolen.
Now a headache and a month-long wait for the insurance to give the police time to find it.
The cops told me it's probably being parted out already, or else raced and trashed at one of the tracks in New Mexico.
Freaking punks. The thing I regret the most was that I didn't hear them take it in the night. I wish so bad I would have heard them.

Bah, sorry to hear, Han. That really sucks. I've had some bikes stolen in the past and I know how bad it feels.
