Root SGH t-599n Stock Deodexed ROM

So after a continue use I lost my ROM and phone I had to flash a bunch of Recovery's just to get it back from a restore I had. Then I tried reflashing the stick deodex ROM again from the recovery you mentioned and nothing still stuck on the metro logo for a good 20 mins luckily my girl hasn't thought of killing me yet. I can't tell if it's steps I am messing or if I am just that rusty with theses phones anymore anyway needless to say I have my phone back thanks to me always pushing a back up lol let me tell you make a ******* back up before you flash its worth the extra 10 mins apart from 2 hours of fixing anyway I'm going to see into why I can't seem to get this to boot if you could list all the steps you did and so maybe I can figure out why its not working a deodex ROM should take a matter of mins to boot not 2 hours

I have another ROM i am working on. Hopefully V1 will be ready tomorrow and I will post it. When i get this first version done and posted i am going to see if the Meta inf file will work for the deodexed rom. You may want to check out my other rom though.

That will be awesome, I apologize for causing a lot of problems I am pretty good about flashing and fixing my phones. NY first phone is the galaxy prevail and I hard bricked that my self but still got it working. I'm just trying to figure out as to why every time I flash this it gets stuck. I'm wondering maybe I'm not allowing the ROM to boot or if I am just missing a step. I factory reseted and cleared the caches the flashed it but I think cause the fact I got recovery looped "I used an app to get in recovery " I had to flash another recovery so maybe that is why it happened anyway I am starting work so I will report back. I've notice while searching the framework-res and system ui we have 4.2' 4.3 and 4.4 files on our phones with enterprise permissions I wonder what's all that about

I flashed this using twrp and i flashed it over a rooted rom I had and I'm getting an eror that says "Unfortunately, com.movial.ipprovider has stopped." Also I dont have a signal icon.

This is just a deodexed stock rom for use as a base for themes or modding
I didn't debloat it. It still has every app that came with the phone stock.

after installing cm 11 on my samsung galaxy exhibit sgh-t599n every things working ok.accept when im recording video i cant seem to find option to record it on limited length of time so i can send it in a sms message ...if this feature isnt available with cm11 .do you know if the deodexed rom enables this feature .

I have only seen it on touch wiz Roms. I haven't seen it on any cm ROM I have used.

To be truly honest. That feature is piratically on every device I owned. But mostly for stock OEM messaging apps. For example touch wiz features that feature the limt MMS But aosp does not.

i am trying to reocrd a video but to send through a sms message .the duration of the recording time is short since your sending it in a message under options you could record for extended amount of time or limited time .for sms messaging.after i installed cm 11 that option is no longer available

really ok damm well guess im a look up this wiz thing you spoke of ..it seems silly but my wife and i just had baby she works alot of late hrs and i used to send her messages with short videos of the baby ..but cant do it no more ..thanx for ur input

Ether you are not really a android user or you just gotten into android. Touch wiz is an os based on android. For more simpler terms the touch wiz company Samsung dummy downed and changed a lot of android to fit there needs. By you being on this fourm I suggest you ate using a Samsung exhibit aka sgh-t599n. If not then let us know your phone so we can send you to the correct forum. Anyway that feature you are looking for is no doubt in the camara app and the stock MMS app. SMS or messaging they all the same. But uselly only inside your stock ROM. I noticed you said you were on cm11 flash a stock ROM we have. We don't have an actual ho back to pure stock unrooted.but any of the Roms are great to use.

yeah im what you would call a beginer .and yes i am using a samsung galaxy exhiit sgh-t599n ..i got it from metro pcs. . i first rooted the phone witH VROOT after rooting i iflashed the cm11 and gapps with twrp 2.7 .i really dont care if i go back to stock rom or unrooted im happy with the cm11 and staying rooted i just thought if it went back to stock rom that camera feature would be available. i tried flashing the deoxeded stock rom .i downloaded it onto my sd card made a backup.using the TWRP 2.7 then wiped my data. and the delvic .and cache .then went to flash the deoxeded stock rom it flashed fine. then i rebooted and after showing the samsung galaxy exhibit sgh-t599n logo it was just a blank screen i waited like 3 min and nothing .i dont know if i did somethin wrong or not so i just restored it so i can be able to use my phone

You have to wipe system too. Well I'm assuming you knew that if you flashed cm11. As I said in another post that limit for mms feature is only available with the stock camera app so you would have to be using the stock rom to use that function. If you made a backup of your stock rom you can just restore it if you really want to use that feature.

I can't get it to boot, flashed in CWMR, prior to flashing I used it to do a wipe data/factory reset in it, then wipe partition cache or whatever and wiped dalvic cache, it just stayed on the metroPCS Logo, I tried flashing it again. Then rebooted into recovery and did a CWMR factory reset/wipe data and still am sitting at the metroPCS screen.

What next, what I am I missing?

Ugghhh flashed TWRP Wiped everything and factory reset everything 3 times, then flashed CWMR and wiped data factory reset and installed rom now it doesn't even make it past the T599N screen and just reboots... Grrrr @ CWMR Not having an advanced enough wipe method and complicated rom's with specific flashing.
