Root Any ROMs/ Themes for this device yet?

Hey now.

I'm the new owner of an L9 as of about 27 hours ago.

Rooted and debloated as of 15 min ago.

Any developers working on roms/mods/Themes for this device?

..... or am I going to have to do it myself? Haha

Well I've done that. So we don't even have stock deodexed rom yet?

Yeah. Only thing so far I found that doesn't work is usb tether..

If it talking to me.... that would be 10b. Updated ota 2 10d.

And I must add correction to a prior post... my. My BL is still locked. Debating on whether I wanna try again or not.

Currently rooted, debloated, can recovery installed, minor tweaks and modifications.

Unless you want to deal with the security error, don't try to flash any rom until you unlock the bootloader. I know you probably already know that but, wanted to throw that out there...

Actually... I didn't know that. The boot loader is a new animal to me. Didn't have to deal with it on the LG esteem. We had some really good devs on that phone so unlocking the phone was a simple script, and I joined in on the theming building packaging tweaking etc.

I posted a tut on what I followed to unlock mine. Worked for me first time. Kuma82 wrote it.

So unlock went well. Now I got cm10.2 running great. My question is when will someone make a metro version of some of these roms that are available. I know we can flash t-mobile roms with no problems, but I just don't care for the t-mobile branding everywhere.

What branding are I Referring to? Are we talking mobile apps or something like the word mobile on lockscreen or statusbar?

Ive been unlocked since i got the phone, and have flashed every rom possible and available over at xda and they have all work just fine. If any of you guys are going to try unlocking i would say DO NOT skip a heart beat, and by that i mean follow every step to the letter even if it seems useless to you. everything said in the tutorials and video is all 100% important.

Basically, all of the roms available are made or the t-mobile version of our phone. There are no metro bloat apps (I use visual voicemail a lot), and everywhere where MetroPCS should be(status bar, lock screen, NETWORK, etc.) it shows up as T-Mobile. It doesn't affect the operation of the phone from what I've noticed, just annoying.

Edit: I have noticed an issue checking voicemail. I have tried two roms, and both would not work. The issue was with entering my password, for some reason it wouldn't accept it.

To get your visual voicemail to work... set your password to 9999. Then run the app. It should set up. Then I think I can change it back.

If you don't have the apk and other associated lib files.... I'll try and dig it up for ya.

That's just it, there is no visual voicemail, and regular dial up VM won't accept a password. Could care less about visual voicemail at this point.
